    PBC-based firm, SEC reach accord Palm Beach County financial publisher Weiss Research will pay more than $2 million in penalties to settle a Securities and Exchange Commission claim that Weiss acted as an unregistered investment adviser when it touted unrealistic returns and offered an "auto-trade" service to newsletter subscribers.
