    Hot cars were on the ground and cool planes were in the air last Sunday at the South Florida Opera Company s first-ever Air Show Luncheon held at the Wellington Aero Club s Pilot House.

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. From cool cars to a couple of benefits for hurricane Katrina relief, there is a lot happening this weekend on the town. The Food Lion Auto Fair is back at Lowe s Motor Speedway.

    Some people buy cars for performance, others for style or prestige. In this week's test drive, auto specialist Tom Voelk looks at a vehicle that has them all - the Mercedes Benz CLS 500.

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. From cool cars to a couple of benefits for hurricane Katrina relief, there is a lot happening this weekend on the town. The Food Lion Auto Fair is back at Lowe s Motor Speedway.

    JAILED ex-intelligence chief Brig. Henry Tumukunde yesterday lost his cool and roughed up the head of the military escorts, who took him to the General Court Martial.

    Auto shows come and go in a funny rhythm: Some years, they're all about glitzy new designs and cool concepts. Other years, the travails of one or two car companies, or upheaval in the auto industry, seem to overshadow everything. This year's Frankfurt Auto Show definitely falls in the second category.
