MISHAWAKA -- The Contech plant at 1800 W. Center St. will close by spring, company and city officials said Thursday. The metal forge, which produces magnesium parts used in vehicles, is the city's second-largest utility consumer, Mishawaka Mayor Jeff Rea said.
