DaimlerChrysler AG and auto-parts maker Lear Corp. have agreed to try to settle a pricing dispute in which Lear had threatened to stop shipping parts unless the automaker agreed to pay more.

Auto Parts Supplier Delphi Clashes with UAW (NPR)
Parts supplier Delphi declared bankruptcy in October, and now says it will ask a bankruptcy judge to void its union contracts. Union leaders from the United Auto Workers say the UAW will go on strike if the company insists on the restructuring plan. Jerome Vaughn of Detroit Public Radio reports.
