BenQ developing PCs for automobiles (PC Advisor)
Taiwanese electronics maker BenQ is hitching a ride on the current bandwagon for car-related PC products. The company is researching several products to be used in automobiles, but so far has nothing ready to formally announce, according to a BenQ representative.

Software bug stalls Toyota hybrid cars (Computing.co.uk)
Toyota is recalling 160,000 of its Prius automobiles because of bugs in the software controlling the car's hybrid engine system that can cause the warning lights to come on without cause. The issue occasionally causes the system to shut of the vehicle's petrol engine, the manufacturer admitted.
